Our Company

               History

Established in November 2006, Noteable Components specialises in the sale of laptop components, as well as the repair and servicing of whole units.

 

Based in the midlands in the UK the business was set up by a committed group of individuals following the relocation of their employees, Celestica to the Czech Republic .  The Celestica site specialised in turnkey laptop repair and servicing for major OEM’s as well as the sale of components to out of warranty service outlets, so effectively it was just a case of carrying on the day job under our own banner.

 

The experience gained through parts procurement aswell as the service aspect made it a very smooth transition, and proved essential. Initially operating out of a single bedroom the business grew quite quickly and within very little time had to expand into it’s own warehouse and distribution premises.

 

“It’s always a bit sickly to say but our aim is to delight our customer, if we do that then there’s more chance of them returning and buying something else and that’s the name of the game” say the directors.

Michelle Gosling:

 

Michelle has had a background in IT since leaving college,  a number of years in PC retail, warehouse and distribution management have proved a priceless asset within the business. Additionally her passion for PC’s and laptops have turned a hobby in to an occupation.

 “When you have a passion for something it means you care about the end product and that’s important” says Michelle

 

Vince Licata:

 

Vince has numerous years of experience in Supply chain, procurement, warehouse and distribution both in IT as well as other sectors, the experience transcends the different market sectors, and has  proved to be an invaluable asset within the business.

“In a previous job I was dealing with  major global laptop OEM’s at a senior level, that gets you very familiar very quickly with what the customer and end user expects, it certainly sharpens your outlook and the sets the expectation in the level of the service we offer with Noteable Components” says Vince
